The application of UAV images in flood detection using image segmentation techniques

چکیده
The application of unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) used to capture the images flood areas are becoming interest most researchers recently. This is due its versatilities capturing with low-cost and real time responses. At present, captured analysed manually by human experts, which cause task labourous, consuming prone toerror. study aims develop an UAV-based automated detection system. Samples that consist land river were using a camera attached UAV emulate flooded non-flooded areas.The RGB HSI colour models utilised represent images. Two image segmentation methods studied, k-mean clustering region growing. segmented validated (ground truth) Simulation results show RG gray gave better accuracy (88%) as compared K-mean (76%). Finally, monitoring system based on growing method, called structure (FDS) was developed detect analyse severity.
